This weekend, the GEICO EnduroCross series presented by E3 Spark Plugs kicked off in fabulous Las Vegas, setting the stage for what will surely be an incredible season of racing. Despite crazy hot conditions outside of the stadium and a challenging track inside, the race action was as tight as we’ve ever seen it at EnduroCross, and that’s saying a lot! Yamaha Monster Energy Ricci’s Ken De Dycker taking his first win of 2010 during the German Grand Prix with two moto wins. Marvin Musquin won in the MX2 class despite a strong Ken Roczen dominated the final heat in front of his home fans.

First victory for 2010 YZ450F and Philippaerts

A packed 30,000 crowd at the St Jean D’Angely circuit in western France witnessed Yamaha Monster Energy MX Team’s David Philippaerts notch his first victory of the 2010 FIM MX-GP World Championship and also obtain the maiden ‘spurs’ for the innovative fuel injected’10 YZ450FM. The resilient Italian celebrated his first tread of the top step of the podium since the 2009 British Grand Prix at Mallory Park.

Kawasaki’s Chad Reed Takes Season Opener

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Chad Reed jumped out of the gate early and won the first moto of the season and then came from mid-pack in the second moto to take the overall win at Hangtown.
